The Aeronautical Park of Catalonia is a singular aeronautical museum infrastructure. Both historic and classic aircraft, operational and out of service, are shown in conventional-static-exhibitions. In addition, the operational ones can be seen in flight on the PAC·OBERT open doors exhibition days.
This blog shows the aircraft and the major units of the Catalonia Aeronautical Park Collections (PAC) that are located at Sabadell Airport, at the Aeronautical Cultural Center of Barcelona-El Prat Airport, and at other aeronautical spaces in Catalonia.
Progressively, monographs, articles, and specification sheets of the collection's aircraft and other major collection units will be gradually added.
THE PAC IN SABADELL
In Sabadell, the Aeronautical Park of Catalonia is located on a plot in the airport grounds that, on April 14 2009, was ceded by the airport owner AENA to the City Council for a period of thirty years. The plot was ceded for the exclusive purpose of building an aeronautical museum.
The City Council Plenary, in a session held on October 5th 2010, ceded the plot to the Aeronautical Park of Catalonia Foundation, in order to make effective the proposal of "creating a museum infrastructure dedicated to the dissemination of history, culture and aeronautical technology at Sabadell Airport" as acknowledged in the cooperation agreement of 29 October 2010.

THE PAC IN EL PRAT DE LLOBREGAT
Since 2000, the Foundation set out to complete the sponsorship and financing with which to make Sabadell's PAC a reality. This included formalizing agreements that have enabled it to extend its cultural museum and aeronautical heritage recovery activities beyond Sabadell. The permanent exhibition at the Aeronautical Cultural Center of the Barcelona-El Prat Airport (CCA), and the exhibition of FPAC's aircraft in other Catalonian institutions and locations related to aeronautics, are examples of activities beyond Sabadell.
